Some basics that you ought to know
A lot of people know about these already; I’ve always been open about them and never have I attempted to keep them secret. To be honest, they’re really quite obvious to any independent observer but I’m fed up with widespread ignorance. I’m a Mormon. (You can learn more here) And yes, I was even a missionary in Germany. Just like those ones in the musical, except we...

reader definition: Sorry
english2english: In UK English, “Sorry” can mean any number of passive-aggressive things, from “Get out of my way” to “Speak more clearly”, but the one thing it doesn’t mean is: “I apologise”. (Advantage: Certainly not the USA)

Today we remember the Battle of Hogwarts
Sorry, Queenie Day beats this hands down.  Tomorrow is May 2nd, the day the battle of Hogwarts 15 years ago. The day that Harry, Ron and Hermione snuck back into Hogwarts and destroyed the Horcruxes. The day that Harry finally defeated Voldemort. We remember everyone who fought in the war and all those who died. Fred Weasley, Nymphadora Tonks, Remus Lupin, Colin Creevey, Severus Snape and more....

UK may withdraw from European rights convention...
NO NO NO NO NO. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW BAD THIS IS. TORTURE IS, and ought to be, AN INTERNATIONALLY ABHORRENT ACT. Rights to protect against it are ABSOLUTE and UNQUALIFIED FOR A REASON. Would you like to be carted off because the UK is ignoring its obligations not only under the ECHR but the ICCPR and CAT. Do your homework guys. This is real. http://gu.com/p/3fc37

Conductor cues the wrong instrument
the-voice-leading-nazi: Marion brought in the basses practically every time we did the sanctus/benedictus/can’t actually remember in Mozart’s requiem. And every time the tenors came in of their own accord. As they should have done.

little-fleur: Petition by iPetitions So, guys - the uni, in it’s infinite wisdom, wants to convert Knightley (our music building) into a post-grad/research centre. Because it needs a lot of work doing on it and they spent quite a bit on Kay House. And apparently, Music just doesn’t make enough…
